The Building Inclusive Communities Guidebook is a resource for non-profit and municipal agencies. It is intended to serve as an introduction to health equity as a topic and in the region, as well as provide resources and examples of how agencies and communities have undertaken this work. It covers:
- The importance of health equity to overall health
- Historical and current reasons for inequities
- Select national and state resources, including an outline of an organizational equity plan
- Local examples from MetroWest agencies
